Default Expired ECBs - how far past expiration date does CVS accept them?

Wouldn't you know that today I found an ECB in a CVS bag - $5 from the purchase of Band-Aids. The darn thing expired last September. Ugh! Sometimes my CVS will take expired ECBs and CVS Qs, but I think this one might be a bit too far gone. Anyone know of how far past due CVS will take their expired Qs and ECBs?

Not sure this one is salvageable....

Mine will take them for 30 days past the expiration date. I'm guessing you might be out of luck on that one - bummer! Sorry!

They told me you can phone CVS customer service ask for the Extra Care program and ask them to reissue them. Sometimes they will at their discression. Hope this helps!
Good luck!

I have had them refused here in Indiana and in South Carolina (while on vacation) when they were 2 days over the expiration date.

At my CVS I had one person tell me "2 weeks", another told me "4 weeks" and then the manager said "No specifice time...but we are VERY LENIENT". I've had many expired ECB's and when I go to use them I always pray he is on duty.

Depends on the store I guess. I just used three yesterday that expired in Feb. that I found stuffed in my binder. Didnt blink an eyelash, however, that is also a rarity as none of the other stores in my area will take them more then a month past.

I feel your pain. I recently found almost $20 in expired ECB's. I had "taken a break" from shopping, due to financial reasons (that & I was stocked to the hilt anyway), and that must have been the last trip to CVS that I made before the break. I can't believe I let them expire though. You think I would have remembered them and at least used them for milk and such!!

Live and learn.

Rats! I had some ECB's expire in the spring, and I just threw them away (about $12 worth - ouch!). Walgreens once refused to honor their expired RR's, so I assumed the same with CVS. I should have known, I never hurts to ask.
