Thanks so much Julie, but I noticed that you did not add tax with what you purchased. How do I know when not to add tax and when to. Thanks. Anybody can help on this issue. Thanks folks.

Default Can you use two CVS coupons for the same product?

I have a $10 off 20 purchase and a $2 off Tide coupon that I received in the mail from CVS.

So I wanted to go to CVS tomorrow and do this, please let me know if you think I can do it.

I want to get

2 tide - 9.99 each
Totals 19.98 so I will get something for about .99.

I want to use the following coupons
$10 off 20 purchase - CVS coupon from mail
2- $2 off Tide coupons- CVS coupon from mail
Total would be around 6.97 then I have $6.00 in ECB's so OOP should be .97...

Would I be ok doing this or am I figuring this out wrong?

I would definitely do that deal scrtgrdn02. Since you need the Tide anyway, you've got a good plan, and it's costing you almost nothing OOP.

...sorry, I just realized I didn't answer your question (in the heading). Yes, you can use 2 CVS Qs in the same purchase. Just make sure you give them the 10/20 Q first. Then give them your Tids Qs, then your ECBs. The 10/20 must be given while your total is still over $20. You should have no problem with this deal at all.

This is something I learned by accident. This works for me in Texas. I believe it varies from state to state. When I buy something that is, for example, .99 and I use a .99 ecb, they cancel each other out creating a $0.00 total. And tax on $0.00 is...nothing. Since I learned that I create all my plans with the goal of q's and ecb's meeting the value of the total. Yes, it works when I use regular q's, too. The only way to see if it works where you live is to try it.

I made my trip this morning at 6:30 and did all the listed transactions and paid $0.00 oop

Thank you for your help, I did this deal yesterday along with several others, while I was going through my binder I realized I also had 2-$1 MQ for the tide as well so I used those, plus they also let me use a 4/40 coupons so my total was 1.43 I gave them a 1.00 ecb and paid .43 out of pocket. It was awesome I have not paid for anything with 2 quarters since I was a kid buying a candy bar.
