JMO of course mckimba....but personally....I would break down the transactions to have .00-minimal OOP....get the full ECB's....and roll..use ECB's...repeat.

Full Disclosure: I rarely, (if ever) use the $5/XX coupons....as breaking down the transactions allows for me to get the items for free-minimal OOP to begin with.

With $13.90 in ECB's....I'm seeing you doing 3 transactions. HTH.

I agree. I used to do the bigger transactions and ended up with a lump sum of ecb's at the end. Took me 6 months to change over to the least oop and rolling ecb's. I like the latter now because it's a great thinking exercise and I can walk in with my shiny quarter and leave with bags of stuff.

Yeah I am thinking the same thing.....I threw in the backpacks because of my $xx/$xx. But $2.99 is a good deal for them. I will probaly look at it again breaking it down some more. Thanks
And of course it depends on CVS having everything it stock...lol

My CVS allows me to use a $10 of $50 as well as the $5 off $30 as long as my transaction comes to $50. That would save you another $5.

Thank you everybody for posting your plans -it helps so much!!! This is only my third week trying the ECB thing, and it is going great, due mostly to your efforts! If my plan end up different, I will post for advice- still working on it! I have 11.92 to roll, so I should be able to come up with something

Default What do you think?

What do you think? Can I do this better?

Transaction 1
2 Filler Paper $4.00 4 ECB
2 memo books $1.98 1.98 ECB
2 pencils $3.98 3.98 ECB
2 pens $1.98 1.98 ECB

total w/tax $12.78
use $11.96 ECB
opp $0.82 receive $11.94 ECB

Transaction 2
2 binders $6.00 6 ECB
1 pantyliner $0.89 .89 ECB
gum/clearance filler $0.99

total w/tax $8.43
use ECB $4 and $3.98
opp $0. 45 receive $ 6.89 ECB

I will have $ 10.85 in ECB left.

I may do the neosporin deal, I have 4 $1 qs. I need see how close to the $10 mark I can get and how many qs I can use. I don't want to start next week with only 5 ECB, but if I could manage to have 8-10 ECB left, I think that would be a pretty good week - spending 1.27 opp and using 4 EBCs!
