My store starts thier sales on Saturday afternoon/evening so you can take advantage of sale items early while the items are still in stock.
By the way, CVS rainchecks do not expire. Just make sure they print the ECB amount at the bottom. I always staple a copy of the item from the sale ad so there are no issues later on when I redeem it (sizes, BOGO's, ECB's, etc).

Very good reminder for anyone who has a problem redeeming. So far I never have.

It's just a bit frustrating because, in at least one case, the items came in only a week before the Q's would expire. I hope I can always get my stuff before then.

I can top most of you!
I just recently threw away rainchecks on items that were featured during Black Friday-some of that stuff NEVER showed up (Arm&Hammer cleaner?).
I flat gave up-it's not coming in.

We have that issue here too. I have a raincheck for the Thermacare and probably won't get it. I had a raincheck for the Dove vitalizer thing and a month after went in and found out they discontinued carrying it. I don't get my hopes up.

Behind the counter?! Thanks for letting us know that. The store where I shop regularly usually has all of the sale items, but I also usually shop on Sunday. What is driving us crazy is the CSO printer is out of paper. I am actually going to break down and call customer service today.

Default CVS Worker here..

It all depends when the store order day is, and making sure that they order
adequately. We have 2 tools to order. We order 10 weeks out and can also order the week of our truck. This also depends on our warehouse as well. If they are not in stock there is no other way for us to get merchandise. My CVS usually stays in pretty good stock. I take pride in making sure to order extra of all the really great deals so that we have happy customers.
Just a tip to, on the customer service survey that sometimes comes out on receipts, that is one of the questions for you customers is whether or not we had what you what you were looking for. Our district takes that very seriously and we are expected to score at least a 96%. HTH a little.

Here in NJ the store that I visit is always well stocked. Of course, if something is popular and on sale sometimes they are out until they get in new shipment, but they always try to get more product in promptly. I think CVS is very popular here! lol

That is A+ in school marking. A very high standard and if u can achieve that it must make the employees also happy.A good complement from a customer is a great morale booster and makes the employee work even harder and more sincerely.

Now how many CVS stores are able to keep that and what is the average nationwide?

Any idea what is the threshhold in Wags.... I have not seen any survey there.Would love to fill it up.

Going tomorrow to look for cereal and to see if they have the Thermacare from 2 weeks ago. Some things come in the next week: some don't for weeks. Nobody knows why, including the managers. LOL
