    Default CVS Question Newbie

Okay I need help. I know I did something wrong but I want to make sure I have all the facts straight so I don't get scared at the register.

Today I went into CVS with no EB under my belt just
a coupon that I received from the Always Infinity sample *Free 18 ct*
An 75 cent Energizer coupon and that's it.

    I decided to get the

    18 ct Always Infinity
1 Bogo on KitKat snack size (1st page on flyer)
1 pack of AA Energizer batteries

I did this all in one transaction and only used my Energizer coupon.

I ended up spending 6 bucks in total since the Infinity was free.

Should I have split the purchase Right then and there?

Buy the Always and go back later for the other two items? Or Buy the Always and cut my EB in front of the register and then proceed with the other two items while the people behind waited impatiently?

I have no idea what the policy is on the whole EB situation. Usually I get my EB's and then come back another day to CVS and use them.

I was bit greedy and decided to get it all in one shot, since the stuff usually leaves the shelf quickly. Help. Pls. For next time. Thanks

if you don't want to make people behind you wait, then go put your stuff in the car, cut the ECB's up and go back in.

So far I haven't had any problems with cutting the ECB right there. It's not like you have suddenly added tons of items to your cart, it's really just a few seconds for an extra payment.

However, if I was feeling pressured by those in line behind me I would take Carrie's advice.

BTW- if they run out of something that's on sale, the CVS by me has been good about issuing rain checks for the items - you might want to try that.

Thanks for the advice. I was so confused as to what to do. Now I have several options.
