Unexpected Bargains at CVS!
Considering I live in Michigan and our ad for this week was HORRIBLE
 , I think I did pretty good with some clearance items. Went into CVS on Sunday to get 2 more copies of newspaper, for the Schick Intuition coupons that I am using at Target!! If you buy two Schick Intuition for 6.99 each, you get $5 gift card. So that is $14- 2($4/1) cpns from this weeks insert, so you pay $6 and get back $5 in a gift card, or .50 cents a piece, awesome!  While in CVS I came across the clearance section: They had Listerine Smart Rinse on clearance for $1.07 a piece, so I got 4 bottles for .07 cents a piece after $1 off coupons. They had Stacy Pita Chips on clearance for $1.25, used 4($1/1) coupons, so they were .25 cents a piece. They had Ziploc Zip and Steam bags, .59 cents. Used 4(.40/1) coupons, so they were .19 cents a piece. Also, I picked up a Remmington Wet/Dry rechargable razor for $2.24. Overall, a very nice suprise!!  Still fighting with them over my 24/7 Skincare deal I did. Grrr.... Bought 2, with the B1G1 sale, and they would only give me 10 ECB instead of 20. Calling Corporate tomorrow!!! See how that goes.  FORGOT TO ADD... CVS has the Trail Mix Crunch on Sale for $1.88- If you go to the Website, there are $2.00 off coupons, making them FREE! Last edited by Krystal; 03-23-2009 at 02:00 PM. WOW, I really have to learn to look for the clearance deals! I have just started to look in Walgreens, so I'll have to also keep my eye out for CVS and Rite Aid. Usually when I go to CVS I have a plan, go in, get the stuff on my list, get out...I'll have to remember to search the aisles!

I wasn't even planning to do any shopping this week and didn't get any papers. When I saw this post I remembered the coupons I had printed. I got 4 boxes for $5.18. They were $4.59 B1G1 and our CVS. Thanks!

I rarely see items on clearance at my CVS. When you guys find the clearance items, are they in a special place or just where they would normally be? I would love to find some good mark downs!

Yea, these clearance items were right with all the other clearance items.. they were on an endcap.
I have 6 CVS's with a few mile radius of me, lol... I will just skip to each one looking for clearance items.. Some of the stores put the clearance section in odd places though. It is best to just ask where it is... I hate having to hunt them down...

I got a pair of the black men's lined croc-style shoes for $1.29 and an Emerson cell phone battery charger (for emergencies) for 99 cents....all 90% at CVS!!! I want to find more for gifts but my store was low on clearance items.
