Hmmm. I'm probably not thinking this thru, but there is a monthlong promotion - $10 ECB's when you buy certain 24/7 products, limit of 5. I priced them last week and they start around $18. This week they are having BOG1/2half off. And I have 2 $1 off coupons that were sitting on the store shelf. So that would be $27 - minus $2 - $25 - minus $20 ECB =$5 for two. Will this work and has anyone tried these products? Since I've been doing this, even $5 is more than I usually spend for moisturizer. If I had ECB's to use up, it would be a good opportunity to try, but all of mine don't expire for three more weeks.

I had done this purchase earlier in the month.. Bought the facial scrub for 15.99, had a $2/1 coupon from beauty magazine, so it was 14.00 and I got back 10.
I absolutely loved the prouct and for that price it was worth it. When i saw the ad that they were BOGO, I decided to give it a try last night. I bought 2 for 24.00, minus 2 $2/1 coupons, so it was 20 dollars and I was hoping to get 20 dollars back so they would be FREE! Well, I ran into some stubborn individuals last night and my ECB did not print, not even 1 of them. I got the manager and told him about how I was suppose to get $10 back for each one. He told me he could only give me $10, cause the one was half off. I asked his to explain his logic, but there was none. Other people have commented that they did this deal with no problems whatsoever. I am calling corporate tomorrow and GETTING my ECB, because there is absolutely no reason I should not. I would have gotten them cheaper if I had bought both at full price, instead of this deal. I paid a dollar more for each item, and that doesn't fly with me, lol...

Well I called corporate and they were of NO assistance at all!
Simply put they said that they could only go by the weekly deal, and NOT the monthly deal. They said I got the b1G1 and that I was not suppose to get ANY ECB'S and that it was up to the manager whether or not to issue them to me! I was furious. I asked how it was possible for some individuals to get the deal and others not, simply based on whether or not the manager felt like it?? Didn't make sense! Like I told them on the phone, it would have been cheaper for me to purchase both products at FULL Price and not even do the weekly deal! She was completely rude and I will be calling again tomorrow or else returning my products! |
