I went to cvs today and did my usual and got my stuff. On my 3rd trip to the register I had 4 boxes of Q-oats granola bars (2 for $5) and two bags of peanut snacks ( something North) (2 for 6) . I had two 1mQ's for the peanut snacks and two 1.00 off Q's for two boxes of Granola bars. It said in the sales add that if you buy 15 dollars of any of these items you recieve 5 ebc.
Mine EBC wouldn't print. The manger said that because these items were on sale that I would have to buy more of the items listed to reach my dollar amount to get the ebc...Hu? ![]() Let me get this right, 4 boxes of granola @2.50 ea = $10 2 peanut snacks @ 3 ea = $6 isn't 16 greater than 15??? I guess $16 won't get you EBC on that deal. I am still scratching my head on that one. Don't worry I made her give me a refund.

Sorry just re-read the post.
It could have been a mistake on the computer's part. If you had satisfied the requirements of the deal, the manager should have forced an ECB to print. They can do that. The only other thing I can think of is to make sure you got the correct sizes for both items. |

I double checked the sizes and so did she. I think she saw all the coupons on the reciept and decided to give me the run around.
And that was my first purchase of any food items for the week. |

Like I said before, If you had satisfied the requirements of the deal, the manager should have forced an ECB to print. They can do that. Sometimes there's a glitch in the system and those things don't print. Did you get your coupons back or did she just give you the cash value of the coupons? |

I'm wondering if at the bottom of your receipt if they got listed separately as different deals. Does that make sense? I've seen it before so it wouldn't surprise me. If it says amount towards Quaker $10 and in another line it says amount towards True North $6 the computer split them and that's why you didn't get them and they should give you the EB. If that's not the case then call corporate and explain everything and they will set things straight and issue you your EB.

I got all my Q's and the ebc back that I used on the purchase, for some reason she couldn't get the computer to give me cash back. So I gave her the .49 cent difference for the cvs water that I bought. It should have been .99 OOP because I had a 2 SQ for the water too! so I ended up with 50 extra cents out of the deal.

You know that makes sense. I didn't think about that, But I did show her the add. I don't think she knew any better than I did. But if you look at how they have them grouped on that page you would think that she would have fixed it. I guess they can't figure out their own sales adds. |
