Kuklaki, in the front of many stores, there is a red machine (blue or gray in some stores) that looks like a mini-ATM. We call it the CSO (coupon spitter outter), it's usually in H&B at the beginning of an aisle. Mine has signs above for a price checker and signs on it to scan your card. They're invisible unless you know what you're looking for
just kidding, but it surely seems that way. I'd walked right by mine hundreds of times not knowing what it was..... Scan your card, and it will print q's for you to use in-store. Rolling your ECBs just means that. ECBs earned from your first transaction print on the bottom of your receipt, I'll tear them off, and use them on your second transaction. I usually only do 2 transactions and make sure I let the cashier know I'm doing 2, and if anyone wants to cash out after I've started my first trans., I'll let them cash out before my second. Gives me a chance to collect myself again if needed.

Just a note for kuklaki, we don't have any coupon spitter outer's near here - they are building a new CVS so I am keeping my fingers crossed, but all the old stores near me don't have them. So..... you may not have one

This store also puts out free tasting samples of Gold Emblem products that are on sale. When the crackers were on the ECB deal ($1 ECB on each box), they put out samples of each variety for tasting. I'm glad they did, since I'm a Cheez-It fan and have been disappointed by other brands of cheese-flavored crackers. The Gold Emblem ones are baked, so fewer calories. And I was surprised at how good they were! Being able to try that sample led me to purchase the ECB deal limit, and now I keep them at my desk for mid-day snacks. |
