Exclamation Problems with Dry Idea ECBs

I tried to get the dry idea deal today, and they rang up incorrectly. I asked the cashier to adjust the price. I had to show him the display and sales paper to give me my extra bucks. Then, I could only get 1 for $2.00 (manually printed.) I also later realized he didn't scan my $1.00 q for irish spring (which I got in a mailer a few weeks ago.) I'll let it slide this time since I've saved more than I've spent OOP at CVS. However, I will make sure I pay closer attention to the screen from now on. My personal advice is not to get the unscented kind. I will try a different scent next time because it isn't showing this deal on my receipt at all.

I went late last night and all the tags were up but I realized later that some of my Sunday sale items rang up on sale already, but the dry idea unscented didn't... Now I have to take it back which I HATE doing because I always feel like they'll think I'm trying to commit fraud!

That's what I get for worrying more about the grouchy cashier than my items ringing up.

It was every scent, and unscented, at my CVS today. I had to walk both the cashier and the manager over to the display before they'd adjust the price. And the manager had to manually push out the $2 in ECBs after.

Luckily, these kinds of things are very rare at CVS that I've seen, so no big deal to me. But I watch the cash register amounts like a hawk and grill about anything I think might be wrong.

Same thing happened to me. It rang up 4.49 and no ecb. Had to go back show her, she gave me back the 4.49 and I paid her the 2.99 and she printed my ecb.

Same for me. And I had the $2 IP. But they had no problem doing the refund and rebuy and manual ecb.

Same thing happened to me... I got the powder fresh one and it rang up 4.99 but I didnt notice until I saw my extra bucks didnt print (figures! the one time i dont look at the screen) The cashier was very nice and told me straight out she didnt know how to manually print the ecb's so she refunded me cash. Same thing basically, I just got cash instead of the ecb's... Spent them at cvs anyways lol

Thanks for posting that scents didn't ring up, too. I think I might be done with this deal. I paid $0.99 ea for the two I did get w/ the ipqs, and I got a $2.00 ecb. Fair deal!

I bought unscented gel and it rang up $2.25, so 25c after coupon plus $2 ECBs!
