    great advice, everyone!!!

I make sure I check here before I go, so I know of any possible hidden deals (like the neutrogena soap this week), any problems I may encounter, etc. I write down what I plan on getting and how many ecb's I should get from that and take it with me. I also cut out any coupons I plan on using, but bring my other ones with me in a folder in case I find something unexpected. I am going to start going on Wednesdays, since that is when my cvs gets stock in. By Wednesday, there is enough info posted on here to help me out.

I still get nervous when I go into cvs. I know, it's crazy, but I get little butterflies in my stomach. Monday I walked out of there feeling like I had stolen something cuz I only paid about $1 for about $55 worth of stuff!!!

Keep reading and making your cvs trips, you'll get the hang of it!!!

Yes, I was really lucky yesterday (I posted about a trip that went really well) and I am usually not so lucky on this sort of thing. I started everything out with a raincheck, which the clerk knew she would need a manager to force the ECB for, and at the same time I told her that I was doing more than 1 transaction because I wanted to use the ECB from stuff to buy the other stuff. She was very nice, and she called someone to open another register right away, so that I didn't have a line of people waiting impatiently behind me, otherwise I would have gotten very flustered.

The other thing that helped me is that I spent a LOT of time reading the boards and planning the trip, and everything I wanted was in stock.

I am still getting the hang of CVS and I have been reading this forum since oct...but the past month I have been doing alot of cvs shopping...I get confused alot..Sometimes I ask people here if they would do something this way or that.. and then make a plan. The other day I planned my trip and the razors werent priced down. Well I didnt feel like trying to find someone and also felt kinda rushed cause hubby and fil waiting in truck so then I feel like I am in a hurry..which then you make mistakes.but I did really good so I cant complain..I still ask questions, read the boards and plan and study my game..

I will say this. If I am doing several transactions and someone walks up behind me I finish with the transaction I am doing and let them go ahead! They can't always open a register and I have to take my time so I don't mess up and my kids know to leave me alone when I am doing it so I don't forget anything!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who had such trouble in the beginning. I've been doing this for several months and I still get messed up sometimes, but I'm a lot more calm about it now. I'm not afraid to go back with my receipt and question something or return something if I got the wrong one. I'm not the most organized person so it takes me a lot longer to prepare than many others I suppose. But it's so much fun when you make a deal work and once you've started getting them right, then it will all be worth it. Hang in there and go slow.

I've been shopping CVS for a few months and I'll still get flustered when they don't have some of my items. It happens. I did create a work sheet for myself that identifies my items, sale price, q's, OOP, and ECB's generated. It helps me when I'm making my game plan.

Thanks for the worksheet. I admit to having to write things down into separate transactions so that I can spend the least oop and get the most ecbs back. My problem is the store is generally sold out by the time I get in on Monday and it totally screws up my plans!
