    Default Ready Set Go!

How long does it take you in the store? I did a major trip today and managed to keep it to and hour and 45 minutes. Not bad for me, I'm usually good for at least 3 hours. I was better prepared this time and I had to leave to meet someone at noon. I didn't have time to get the frozen items I wanted, but when I got home, I barely got the few I had into the freezer. So what's your average time?

Having a small child definately makes my trips longer than I would LIKE them to be, but no where near as long as what you all are talking about! I am usually in and out in 30-50 minutes.. or the child alarm goes off (WHINING, Messing with stuff ect). I would rather do smaller trips and not deal with that =p

1 to 1.5 hrs with kids. I can do 45 minutes without a kid. If I'm doing a major haul an hour and a half. The bog commissary back in VA used to take me 2 hours, it was such a big store. Plus I always find tearpads and in store deals not on my list there... lol

My kids whine before I get to the door, I try to leave them at home with someone. DD will behave ok if its just her during the day.

I mostly quick trips since I have a lot of stores very close to me - 5 Kroger, 6 CVS, 5 Walgreens, 2 Meijer, Target, 3 Marsh, 2 Walmart, Aldi, about 8 miles in any direction. I can hit 5 stores in 2 hours without any kids. I try to avoid the SuperTarget and SuperWalmart with kids, just too big, and if I have the kids with me we only do the grocery side of Meijer. Marsh, Kroger, and the drugstores are really fast and easy. Target takes me the longest. I never, ever do the huge EC trips, mostly just barely fill the bottom of the cart.

I shop with no kids most of the time and if I do have them they are 16 so they don't slow me down too much. I shop in small trips as well, leaving for work an hour early and usually hitting 3 stores in that time. I think my mind would explode if I spent 3 hours in a store; I have to break it down into smaller bits.

I have the opposite problem! Haha! If I'm by myself it takes me about 45 minutes in a grocery store and maybe 15-20 minutes in the drug store. I would say that I'm pretty organized, but I also love to browse clearance. Instead of kids slowing me down, I have DH trying to speed it up

I do about 1-3 hours. Depending on if I prepared ahead of time or if I am there seeking out unadvertised deals. When I do that I walks slowly through the store checking on anything that peeks my interest. I also check the clearance areas for good deals.
