Default Can you pair a manufacturer's coupon with a price-match at WM?

I've been couponing this way for months (pairing manu coupons w/ price-matching at WM), but was told at Walmart that I couldn't do this. Is this considered "Double-couponing" or something or was I given a load of hooey? I couldn't find this rule in their policy.

    Thank you!

I do this all the time without problems at my Walmart. First I ask for the price match then I hand over my coupons. I have not had any issues.

Thanks! I do it all the time too, but I think it may have had to do with all of my high-value coupons??? I don't know, but looks like maybe the manager was just feeling macho that day.

I price match and use coupons without problems as well. What coupons were you trying to use?

Generally I have no problems price matching and using coupons at wal mart. However, occasionally I get the cranky crew and it's an issue. I simply tell them nevermind and then go back on a different day not worth my time or hassle!

I can't remember all of them. That manager did let me do it "just this once". I do remember that I had price matched hair color @5.99 from KMart and had a coupon for $5/2.

I actually had to call home office on walmart for this very issue. I explained to the manager that "comping/price matching is a service wal-mart offers that has nothing to do with any other specials deals or coupons." Then if i want to use a coupon "JUST as i could if i were actually AT the store with the price i matched, i could use a coupon and there would be no issue." While standing outside the line i called home office to confirm if i could use them since there policy wasn't clear and i was told YES, they have nothing to do with one another. So i let the home office person talk to the manager standing there. She still got awrite up for treating me so poorly and i was kinda glad, but in the end YES you can comp and use a coupon. They have nothing to do with one another.
