Friday the 13th was good luck for me

Not a bad day at all.

I went to 2 Rummage sales this morning and scored a ton of fabric for $20.

Then I went to Kmart that was going out of business. I bought 2 thermal under shirts for DH for $6 ea. These were half off.

Next, Aldi's. I got 2 gals of milk, a large carton of cottage cheese, a 2 pack of paper towels, a bag of chips, 2, 1 pound pkgs of strawberries, a bag of apples, a bag of pears, a bunch of bananas, a package of romaine lettuce, a 4 pack of tomatos, a pineapple, and a bag of clementines, all for $20 and some change.

Yesterday I went to a Joanne's store that was also closing. I got $279.00 worth of stuff for $27.92. (Not sure how the tax figured into that.) Everything was 90% off as it was the last day, unknown to me at the time.

So, kinda unlucky for these store employees, but good for me.

Did you go to the rummage sale in maumee at the school / church? I went there today no furniture ;(

Phil, yes, I did go to Maumee. Did you go into the garage? I saw chairs in there. Also look for notices for my Mom's church. She goes to Aldersgate Methodist at Sylvania and Douglas. Their sale is at the end of April (I think, I'll check with her again). They usually have some furniture.
