Default Headed to Joanns, wish me luck

My Joann's moved buildings and is having a grand reopening sale this weekend. That's in addition to the Presidents Day sale that started today. So they passed out a bunch of 50% off one item Qs last week, then the sale has fleece on sale, plus red tag clearance and Simplicity patterns are $1 each. I am heading out today to use some of the 50% Qs, then I am going to go again on Sunday because I have a 10% off the whole order that starts Sunday.

I will come back and share how I did.

Ok, I dunno what happened, I seriously just posted here. It disappeared.

Anyway, I ended up not getting much. I spent just under $25. I got 8 patterns-a couple of bags, a couple of craft and some maternity shirt patterns. Or rather, shirts that will work for maternity, though they aren't labled as such. Anyway, I also got 2.5 yards of cotton to make a sling out of to sell. A package of 3 cuts of PUL (21"X24" each) a fleece remnant that's 1yrd and a knit remnant that I am going to use for cuffs on something. The red tag section was pretty crappy actually. I might head over to the Joanns on the south side on Sunday and see what they have in red tag.

Sounds like you did pretty good. I KNOW NOTHING about arts, crafts, decorating or sewing. I am totally green is this area.

I am a big time sewing and crafty type of person. Not the knick knacky type of crafts, but stuff like hats, scarves, bags, etc-useful crafts. I used to scrapbook a lot too, and I really really really want to get back to it. But, our main living area and toy and playroom is downstairs, and my scrapbook area is upstairs. I cannot leave the little ones downstairs while I scrap and I can't do it while they are sleeping because I can get a bit noisy working with hardware.
