Default anyone else notice this ?

Just seems a little off to me. I was putting away some coupons and noticed from the 02/05 ss save 1.50 off one 12 oz bag coupon. There's a spot on it the cashier writes in the date and price of coupon used. But in the small wording above the spot where the cashier fills in information it says up to 1.79? lol Not too sure i understand this coupon , if it's a determined 1.50 /1 why the cashier has to fill in a price " up to 1.79" . Odd.

I saw this too! It was on the Seattle's Best Coffee, I believe. That struck me as weird- along with the .29/1 YoCrunch Yogurt.

This has happened a few times before. I know once La Creme yogurt had $1 coupons with an "Up to $1.99" value box.
It looks like someone kept the template from the free Seattle's Best iced coffee singles when they typed up the new Seattle's Best coffee $1.50 off coupons.
(And how I wish they would issue more Seattle's Best iced coffee singles coupons again!)

had a cashier do that at walmart last week and i told him the correct price so he changed it. i don't know if they think it helps the store and they try to
cheat or if they just do not understand how that works.

I saw it too and wondered if it could be a marketing tool too.. kind of like a spiff for the store. An extra bonus for stocking and promoting their product?
