I just moved down here to NE Florida, from Maine. So I am new to the area and don't know anyone here yet. I just wish that I had someone that I could show how I am saving all this money. All my family and friends from Maine are seeing what I am doing on FB when I share my successes and want to know how, but it is so hard to explain without "showing" them exactly. I am going to visit in a few weeks (bringing my Q's of course) and hoping that someone will want to see/learn how they can save their family $$ as well. Glad I have you girls to share and learn from, Thanks everyone!

You could always make a photo album/scrapbook type thing. Take a pic of all your items, then take your reciept and put them side by side in the book. Then every so often take a picture of your stockpile/cabinets, ect. You might even do a before/after picture.....Here's my list, my q's, ect, as the before, the reciept and the items as the after....

My family lives all over the globe and I do not have any immediate family here. I do call my parents from time to time to brag about great deals. I wish they could use the knowledge but none of it ispossible where they are. My daughter and I attend divorce support group and last Monday we were discussing financial side of it. I mentioned about my couponing and the group moderator wanted me to share how I save so much $$$.

Welcome from another Mainer (Waterville) living in the Orlando area! We love St. Augustine...
I started sharing with some of my neighbors and now several are having their own success stories. Yesterday when I went to pick up my printer from the repair shop I told them I needed it for my coupons and they took down the couponmom address so you never know who is interested

I have taught others via the internet using instant messenger by linking them to their local store's website, then helping them understand how to match up deals with online coupons. The trick is to get them started down the right path. The last person I taught this way has been really successful saving $89 the first time out, then picking up $45 worth of stuff for $5 the second time out. While doing it that way is not ideal, it does seem to work ok.
