Is there something I am missing?

I am new to the site and trying to figure things out.

I saw a listing for Hormel Chili on sale at Kroger using the 10-18S coupon, I guess that means the Hormel coupon from the 10-18 smartsource insert. Only problem is that I can't find that coupon anywhere in that insert. And I have a couple copies of that insert that it was missing from.

Are some of the coupons not available in all areas or could it be missing from my inserts? I would like to take advantage of this deal but I can't find the coupon and feel I am missing something here.

yes some areas get different coupons. i had the same problem so i started buying the sunday paper for the bigger city near me and now i dont miss any Qs...good luck.

That's correct. The Hormel coupon is from the October 18th Smartsource insert. It is $2/3 products including Hormel Chunk Meats, Hormel Bacon Bits, Dinty Moore products, Spam Products or Mary Kitchen and has pictures of several of the products on the coupon.

Coupons DO vary based on area and newspaper. Where are you located? Many times smaller newspaper have skinnier inserts with less coupons. If there is a larger paper in your area try buying that or ask locals here on the boards about the differences in coupons in your area.

You can also trade for that coupon or try a clipping service.

And some larger metro areas get better Qs than the smaller town areas. For example, my mom (so. calif.) might get a $.75/1 Q, but the same product in my paper might be for $.50/2. It's worth your time to investigate -- ask friends and family in other areas of the country to confirm the Qs/amounts.

A clipping service cuts out multiples of Qs so you can order only the ones you want. Check ebay. NOTE for beginners: It is ILLEGAL to buy/sell coupons. When you use a clipping service you are paying them to cut Qs out for you.

Just did a quick comparison and the SmartSource supplement is different in the Atlanta and Athens papers. Haven't even looked at the $ difference yet, but that's also something to keep in mind.

Been trying to get my mom on board with CM, but she swears she can't get the kind of deals I'm getting in Houston cause she lives in the LOND. Told her it didn't matter so next time I'm visiting I'm going to show her the ropes.

bfleon thats so awesome. maybe your mom is just scared because there are no doubles in FL, but we have an AWESOME publix and WAGS at the bel-air plaza(beachside) the wags employees ALL coupon so they will help her!!!!! i LOVE that store. any time im in publix and the cashiers try to be coupon police or not let me stack i just ask them nicely to call the manager over and they ALWAYS push my Qs through, I left there yesterday with 8 boxes of cereal, 1 gallon of milk, 1 bag cat food and 1 bag cat treats OOP $2.55 any ways nice metting a local(kinda) hehe
