This board drives me crazy!

I work all day and when I get on the computer at night, I look forward to reading all the posts. I click on "What's New" and I'll have a couple pages of posts to read. BUT...I get through a half dozen or so, and then suddenly there are only a few left to read, or none at all. So where did all the posts go? I could have sworn I had 2-3 pages to read, and then nothing. What gives?

I always click on the "New Posts" (1st selection in the top upper left corner under "Forum") and that lets me read anything I missed since the last time I logged on.

Only hit the new posts button once, after that scroll thru the pages using the page buttons. I always work oldest to newest but I don't seem to have a problem.

Same here on all accounts. And I open every thread I want to read in a new tab first before I read anything, so inactivity of any sort doesn't affect me.

I know exactly what you mean!!!So many times I have not been on the forum for a day or so and I have 4-6 pages to go thru: and I will start off clicking on New Post, then I will either read a "3-4 pg reply" or reply to a post then I forget where I am at and end up clicking on "new posts" again!! BUT a lot of times I will click on "New Post", and read a few posts, then either will not finish going thru posts or close the page out before I finish reading all the posts!! Then when I finally come back andit will open up to latest Post!! ( hence I have lost all the previous post) if that is the case I just click on the Search Icon and get the last 24hrs or the date you may be looking for!!
Does any of this make sense?? There are still sooooo many things I don't know how to do on this forum!! LOL Colored words, Enlarged Words!! heck I just now figured out how to put in my ISO list!!

Just go back a page instead of hitting "New posts" again

When you reply to a thread, there is a tool bar in the top of the box where you type. Font is the style, size is size (obviously) and the A with a down arrow will let you change color and there are more... If you click on the go advanced there are also more options for you to choose from. HTH
