I would like to see a forum for connecting with othe couponers in our area!

My thought is to set up a forum with subforums for each state, and if possible additional sub forums inside each state. For example, within the forum for connecting with other couponers in your area, there would be a a state forum for Illinois, then if possible inside the Illinois forum, have Northern Illinois, Central Illinois and Southern Illinois. That's what the social groups are for.......you just create one and invite others to join or make it public so anyone can.

Indiana already has a social group and no one posts on a regular basis. It is hard to keep up with since we post on the general forum anyway.

It was the same with Florida's social group. I joined and no one ever posted. But - we have so many new members here that it might be worth giving it another try.

I must be a complete idiot, I don't know what you mean by social groups? I don't know anyone who coupon except those on this site, is there a way to set up a social group here? I was just trying to think of an easy way to connect with people in our own areas, especially when you are just starting out and don't really know anyone!! Guess I need to do more investigating!

If by social group, you mean on facebook, setting up my own group has not worked out for me!! Thanks for the suggestion though!

They mean social groups on here. Up top click on "community" and then on "groups." You can search for your state name or another topic. I've been on here for a couple years now and didn't know they existed until a few weeks ago, didn't know there were any based on your area until I read this thread, and didn't know how to search for them until I just looked at the top of the page for you. So you aren't a complete idiot You seem to be in good company.

We are talking about social groups here in this forum. Please go to "community" at the top of the forum website, then "groups" and you will see all groups.

I figured it out, and I just started 2 new groups!! 1 for Illinois and one for coupon addicts!!
