I've emailed about this before and heard no response but here it goes again. It's become my only pet peeve about this otherwise wonderful site.
There is no Winn Dixie in South Carolina, which automatically could make someone considering using this website think: "Well, see, that's not accurate. There's not even a Winn Dixie in South Carolina. It's a free site and you get what you pay for." (I've actually had a few people tell me the other site which charges a monthly fee for the same information is better because it's more accurate. I think having a store listed which no longer exists only adds fuel to their argument.) Go to winndixie.com and check. South Carolina is not listed because we don't have Winn Dixie anymore. We used to have them, and they closed down years ago. I'd like to see Winn Dixie in South Carolina removed from the list. Since you're not looking to add more stores at this time, I won't say how much I'd absolutely love to see a Bi-Lo list. I'll wait until you're looking for suggestions of stores to add before I put in my two cents on "Bi-Lo". |

I genuinely enjoy the site the way it is and appreciate the fact that couponmom is asking for input! This is such a wonderful free service that I know I could not even begin to wrap my head around trying to do all of this on my own, so I do appreciate all of their work in this. It has changed my life!
![]() I really like the setup in the current deals list and I guess my only suggestions would be: 1. Be able to choose an order of how one may like the list sorted (i.e., first by %, then by description) 2. A button at the top to "select all deals". This would help me because I print out all of the Wal-mart deals to use as a comparison when I'm shopping at other stores to see if I am getting a good deal since they are sometimes lower. I guess this one isn't a huge deal, it would just save me a few clicks. Here are some suggestions for others commenting here about looking for the best deals on the list. When I want to see which items are the best deal, I just sort the items by % saved (by clicking on the up or down arrows by the categories at the top), that way I can only check out those deals that are 50% or more. I also check on the additional notes that do not have a % amount because that gives me additional info. (i.e., rebates, register rewards, extra bucks details) which end up at the bottom because they are 0%. I don't really see a need for color-coding the percentage saved since the sorting feature is already available.

I was talking about being able to say you want to buy 10 of something and 5 of something else, and so on. Then hit a total button and get a new total for the entire shopping trip. I probably wasn't clear enough, sorry.

I don't know how many have this problem but I do know that there are others. The website doesn't save my information even though I have the button clicked to remember me. Also I have to sign in again if I am on one page to long and then go to another, or if I go to another section. I love the site and all it has to offer, but when I've got coupons in one hand and scissors in the other, having to log in repeatedly can be frustrating. I also agree with the idea of updating it on Saturday whenever possible. I prefer to shop on Saturday so I get the paper early. It would be nice to be able to see ahead of time what the deals are.

I would love to be able to input a coupon I have currently and see who has the best sale price for the week.
Even without the coupon, it would be nice to go to one place to see which store has the best price on the sale items, rather than having to click on each store, copy/pasting, and then comparing Also, our CVS has changed the dates of their sales from Sunday-Saturday to Friday-Thursday. I really do not like this, as it does not line up with the rest of our sales, AND there is no longer a sale flyer in the newspaper. I usually do my shopping on Fridays using the info from this site, but now the sales are not lining up with the listings online. Not sure why the sale dates are so different. Used to be everyone ran sales from Sunday-Saturday. Now it is confusing. CVS is Friday-Thursday, Ingles' is Sunday-Saturday (but their flyer is in the local Sundaypaper), but the other two main grocery stores have sales Wednesday-Tuesday (flyer is in the mail). UGH! |

I like the "Grocery Deals by State"! It would be nice to type in "quanity" and get that multiplied out.
One of the biggest problems I have in planning a grocery trip is knowing where to get the best deals on regular-priced goods (those things not advertised or on special or for which there are no coupons). I may be asking for the impossible, but it would be nice to have access to store inventory & prices. I think I was researching where my sister (in another state) could get the best deals on groceries and one of the stores [Wegmans? Tops?] had their inventory online. I could enter the quantity I wanted and, at some point, it would list the items & give me a total cost. That feature is not available where I shop, but would be SO helpful. So, anything you, CouponMom, could do to that end, would be great!!! Thanks for asking & for all you do!! |
