If there's more than one coupon still valid for a sale item, I'd like to see it listed, too. (Or at the very least a note that there are additional coupons I can clip. Virtually none of my stores accept internet coupons).
I also like the idea of color coding. I'm a 60% scanner. I also like the idea of section of the store. I don't usually want HBA from my Kroger, only food. |

This may be a tough one.. any way you can incorporate the military commissarys on this website? I have a website the lets us know what is on sale there every month but I again, as said in the previous threads by other folks, I have to cross reference commissary, walmart, kroger....etc.

In the forums section I would like to post to a specific thread, example if the third thread down in a section I am interested in and want to reply to that thread and let everyone else + that specific person see the post. I think there should be a sub thread. So you don't have to read all the post to see the answer. Maybe next to the quote button, it should be Reply to this post. ps LOVE the COLOR coating idea!

I would love to see you more clearly distinguish between those items that are free and those items where the rebate and a coupon exceed the price paid. Currently, it is hard to find that note when it is mixed in with the item description's text and the saved percent is given as 100% regardless of whether the item is free or actually a profit after rebate.

I agree, it would be great if it were more clear how much you will actually pay at the register for items that have rebates or store cash coupons that you have to use later.
For example, for an item regularly priced $10.00, there could be columns saying something like "pay $10.00 - rebate $10.00 - final cost FREE". Does that make sense? |

I'm lucky enough to get an advanced Sunday paper on Saturday. Unfortunately, most of the coupon/grocery list sites, including your's, do not update the deal list to reflect the possibility of using one of the new coupons on Saturday. For example today, I'm able to use the 9/7 $2.25 coupon off Electrasol coupon with the 8/31-9/6 Electrasol sale and rebate at Rite Aid to get the item at a profit (ignoring sales tax). (Yes, I know I can come to the forums to potentially find these updates, but they are not as easy to find as they would be if the list was updated.)
However, even if you don't get an advanced Sunday paper, many grocery stores do not run their sales on a Sunday-Saturday sales cycle, such as Safeway in Washington state. Therefore, when new coupons are available on Sunday, the list is often not updated to reflect the possibility of using one of the new coupons until the current sales cycle has ended and a new one starts. This means some great deals can get overlooked, especially for people that just scan the percent off amount (and there will be even more percent off scanners if the list gets color coded). Mid-week updates are also useful at drugs stores such as Walgreens, which often overlaps the rebate period at the end of the month. For example, the August 2008 EasySaver rebates ended on Saturday August 30 but the September 2008 ones started on Friday August 29. With online claim submission, it is possible to shop for rebates in both months during the overlap and advantageous too since most fellow couponers/bargain hunters won't start buying the products subject to the new rebates until the first Sunday of the new rebate period. (Usually, the free after rebate products are actually there on the shelf and you often also have a $5 or $10 off printable coupon to boot on the last Friday and/or Saturday of the month.) Finally, mid-week updates are also great when a coupon expires in the middle of a week. If implemented, you would also need to indicate the last update time for each list. I would like to be able calculate the total amount of a shopping trip . If we could change the number each item we want to purchase line-by-line it would be great! Then we could have a better idea of what our total would be.Thanks!

so I don't know if any body has said this yet but it would be real cool if you could type in how many of one product you wanted to buy to reflect how much you are going to spend and save get that? I was just reading this and I totally agree with the girl above me LOL
