I use FF with adblock pop ups so none here either, I can say I dont like pop ups in general ..I find them distracting.....its like call waiting on the phone which I also hate.....Im a one thing at a time kinda girl....multi tasking is not what the brain was programmed for...hence the reason texting/talking on cell phone while driving is so dangerous, did you know its like driving drunk? anyway,

I have FF, too, I guess no adblock though? The dog comes up once in awhile...not often, but maybe I hit the control button to allow the pop up and that's what lets him in? I don't know...it's not your usual pop up. The dog comes out of no where and is moving on your screen. A neat concept, but distracting.

I started watching this thread to make sure it did not get too out of hand. Then I have received some PM's from members concerned about how this thread may get out of hand and concerns.

I have forwarded these member concerns to Stephanie. I have seen the pop-up rarely and I'm here every day multiple times. It does not really take up much of my time. I do know before we had some that showed up a lot more frequently. She is checking into the ads.

This is so funny- I was logging on to say I've never seen a dog pop-up, when a big white fluffy dog pops-up for Febreeze! Cute, but not annoying. I appreciate this site being free, so I can live with an occasional pop-up.

Personally, I don't like popups at all. I find them to be an invasion. I did see the dog do his thing and he is cute, I just hope this is not a trend for CM. If CM needs to post adverts, I would much prefer a sidebar on the right side with the "advertiser's" non-flashy banners which rotate on each new page.
