Default swapping coupons

I would love to do this also. I have tried to start a coupon swap in my home. I've had replies and maybe 1 would come but then not come back. I would love to have a coupon swap. I'm in Springdale, Arkansas. If I could get 2 or 3 to coming at the same time I think it would grow.

This past week I was over loaded with coupons. There are a lot of coupons that I don't use... I am sure someone that lives near me could use. For example, I don't have children so all of those coupons go to waste. So I would like to see a forum where coupon shoppers that live in the same area could talk and meet up to swap coupons.
I recently had to downsize from house to apt. I really miss the free weekly paper. I do have children so I would love to maybe talk and swap. I will PM you.

Just a suggestion - speak with the librarian at your local library about having a coupon swap basket. At ours, we use the honor system ~ you bring the q's you don't use, and take from it what you will use. I loved it, and many years ago would help manage it by taking out expired q's and keeping it neat. I'm too busy now to even go check it out, but when I was a stay at home mom, I used it weekly. I even made a small poster advertising it, and explaining how it works. Many people just brought in the entire inserts without opening them, just to help out.

I've often thought that the library would be a good place to have a coupon social group, also. Since it is community property, they should allow a room for it.

This is a great idea. The library where we lived in PA had a coupon basket by the front door, and I would always see people using it (this was before I used Qs). I just happened to go back to that library a few months ago, and the basket was gone It was/is such an economically depressed area (old railroad city), and I know it could help people now since many of their stores double.

I am on my way back to Jax in a few months. We could start a swap meet when I get there. coffee, coupons, and exchanging a few tips, that sounds great.
