New Posts to me??

Maybe it's already possible but I haven't found it. One forum site I go to has the ability to check if there are new message to me. I bet lots of us already know about this site. Pun intended. ;-) edited to say it's about.com no competition at all, I was just "trying" to be funny.

Not sure I got the pun and thank you for not directly mentioning another site.

Messages specifically to you show up at the top under private messages. You can subscribe to the threads you start and can set it to see all of the responses. If you just want to see if there are any new messages throughout the forums, then at the top of the screen is a button "new posts" that will bring up any new threads or posts since the last time you checked in.

Other than these examples, I am not sure what else you are looking to find.
