GOOD TRADER "FORUM" ...give FEEDBACK please!

Each good trader could be in the name of a thread added by MODS only....it might be easier to locate than a single thread? Doh ya "stickies"

I support this idea. In my opinion, and I can only speak for myself, I can't support a "bad trader" thread. Sometimes things just happen, family issues, mail issues, etc that just can't be helped.

I feel a simple and polite email addressing the trade issue with your trader is appropriate. I've had experiance where I've sent out mail and for some awful reason it never got to the person it was sent to. It also took me a while to figure out that on THursdays and Fridays my mail carrier comes before 10 O'clock and if I wanted to send mail out on those days it should be in the mail box the night before because there is no telling when the carrier is going to be there.

I'm not sure that I really think it's a good idea. It seems to me that if someone's name isn't on the "Good Trader" list, then that's just another way of labeling them as a "Bad Trader." I know that I've had a few trades that haven't gone well, but in my opinion, it's my responsibility to follow up on them and try to work things out with the other person. If I can't get a satisfactory resolution, then I know not to trade with them again. I certainly wouldn't want my name removed from the "Good Trader" list because of a lost piece of mail or a misunderstanding.

in my opinion not being on the list doesn't mean you're a "bad trader" just no one's traded with you yet or put you on the list. Is there a fair way to make the Good trader list? I posted this thread because I didn't like seeing the "bad trader list" thread in my face. *lol*

I fully support a good trader list. I just got burned sending out an envie full of free kitten chow q's and got nothing in return. No response to PM's...nothing. Maybe there could be a place where you could write a comment (like feedback on ebay) on the good trader list like "sent extra coupons", "received quickly" etc so people would know what to expect.

I support a good trader list. I also do not think if your name isnt on it that it would automatically make you a "bad" trader either. I like the idea of a "feedback" type thing. If there was a way to do that instead of any good or bad list? Just my 2cent

i think that there should be something for good traders.. i mean ya not everyone does trades and maybe some people only trade once or twice.. but hey if you do trade and its all smooth everyone should be aware of that ur an honest person looking to help someone out. or hey im a thief and im not gonna mail u your stuff ,, maybe like if u do a trade you send a message to the monitor and say such and such was a good trader and the other person does the same for you they can give u a star by ur name wth a number in it of the amount of trades u did good and if u did a bad one u get like a sad face next to ur name?

JMO....but I'm not liking the idea of a good trader forum either....there's too many potential problems there too. The obvious ones would be....

1. If someone just registered....it may take some time to be on the list...in the meantime, they have honestly started a trade....

2. Similar to #1....If someone didn't see their own name instantly on the good trader forum....then they could have many questions as to why.

3. Mis-perceptions.....hurt feelings...etc, and I wouldn't want anyone to have their feelings hurt.
