HTH!

I found a Giant Tonka ladder firetruck at the thrift store for $3.00. It is just huge!! My three year old loves anything firetruck related. The levers did nothing when I tried them in the store but for $3.00 who cares he could pretend. ( this was every bit of a $60-100 firetruck) I got it home and changed the batteries and every thing works!!!!! The ladder goes up, down and swings side to side. the lights light up. the wheels drive forward and back. My son was super excited and his little brother likes it too. (8 months old)

I'm only 30 but I have been shopping garage sales/thrift stores/rummage sales my whole life. Last week a local church had their annual rummage sale (which for some reason a lot of people think it's junky, but I have such good luck at). Anyway, we had horrible storms and a lot of the clothing got wet. I went after work and saw huge tables of wet clothes--everything you could fit in a bag for $1!! Needless to say, I came home with 40 + items for $3. We're talking Gap, Express, American Eagle, J Crew, Banana Republic! Score!!
