Bi-Lo Fuel Perks = Gas Savings

Looked through the earlier Bi-Lo posts, didn't see one on this, so...

Our area Bi-Lo stores started doing this a couple months ago. To make redemption easier, they issued new loyalty cards with barcodes on the back.

Only participating gas stations give the discount, 2 in our area I've noted are Exxon and Texaco (even then, appears only select ones.)

Ours does that too and it has been AMAZING for us ... the fuel perks is calculated before coupons, so any purchase, even free and discounted ones, count at full price to the fuel perks. When I first learned about it I quickly racked up a 90 cents (per gallon) savings on my card, which you can use at up to 20 gallons in a fill-up, so when we filled up our truck (which is our only vehicle that takes more than 20 gallons) we saved a total of $18 off the tank. My husband and I were inspired and I started really watching the circulars and matching up the deals seriously. This month so far I am at $2.65 per gallon savings ... which is wow ... $53 off a tank of gas! And I only buy stuff I need, so it's money I would have spent anyway, I'm just getting free gas for spending it at Bi-Lo. Plus they double coupons up to 60 cents and my usual savings is around 40% per trip. I love Bi-Lo.
