Okay so I went to bi-lo today. First off they were out of the Yoplait Granola 2 packs as well as the 3lb bags of rice on sale for $.99... So I had to get two rain checks. The lady who I believe was a bookkeeper for the night shift told me that I wouldn't be able to receive any fuel perks even if I brought back my ad + rain checks as proof that I should receive them when I buy according to this weeks ad. That was my first *UGH* moment.

So I proceeded to check out. Since i had a coupon for this weeks meal deal I decided to get it.. not a horrible deal.

Tyson chicken for $6.99 and you get frozen SH veggies, a 2L of coke, & frozen fries for free. Before I went I printed out two Q's for the fries from the manufacturers website. When I handed them to her(after my bonus card had been scanned) she tries to tell me I can't use this Q because i"m already receiving the item for free. I proceed to explain to her that she isn't correct. The meal deal is a "store promotion/Q" and my Q is a manufacturer Q.

The cashier then calls the bookkeeper back over and explains that the register won't accept the coupon and shows her the issue. The bookkeeper tells me I can't use the coupon on the meal deal because I'm already getting the item for free and I can't use a coupon because she would be giving me money back. I wanted to roll my eyes at this point but I didn't I was calm and pulled out my bi-lo coupon policy. I explained to her the same thing I explained to the cashier about it being a manufacturer Q and that the meal deal is considered a store Q and that bi-lo policy says that each item can have 1 store Q and 1 man. Q used in the same transaction. I also told her that you are just taking money off my total not actually giving me cash back. I told her that I called bi-lo corporate and that they told me exactly what I was telling them(which I had called earlier this week). She gets an attitude and tells me point blank she's not taking my coupon so I just ask for a manager..

The manager reads the Q and eventually after asking if it was the correct item scans the coupon and turns her key so I get my money off. Before the manager and the bookkeeper leave I tell them my mom has a meal deal and coupon as well(she's right behind me). They both have the nerve to walk off!!

So the cashier calls Code 15 to register 2. The bookkeeper comes back and me thinking she'd just do what she's suppose to.. instead she goes "I aint putting my code in for that coupon and getting my ass in trouble, xxxx(managers name which I don't remember) has to do it." So I sit there for at least 5 minutes waiting on the manager... and right before the manager comes over the BK comes back and just does what she should have done 5 minutes ago!

This was the most frustratin trip I've had to this store. It was night and day between the night shift and the day shift(literally). Even the CVS cashier I just had spoken with 10 minutes ago(and i had wayyyy more coupons) was 100x nicer to me then the 3 ladies i delt with at this store. The corporate office will be getting an ear full come Monday morning.

*argh*.
