    Default nice shopping trip

Today was the first time i have shopped Bi-Lo for their sales and i saved $42.81. pre bonuscard and coupons subtotal was 120.52 final subtotal of 77.71. would have been better except there were a few things that i really needed that were not on sale and didnt have coupons for and they were completely wiped out of a few things that I had gone in there for.

But I have a question for those who shop their regularly, especially those with young kids. We have 2 stores here in town. One that is an older smaller store and they have decent regular carts but only have 2 of the racecar carts and one doesnt have steering wheels or seat belts and the the seat belts on the other are so shredded that you can not adjust them. The bigger newer store just out side the Parris Island gate doesnt have any decent carts, the child seats are all broken and/or have no seat belt. This makes it very hard for a mother to shop by herself with young children especially with more than one.

So my question is are all the stores like this or is it just my stores that need new carts? I am getting ready to send a message to their home office.

I haven't had to use the safety straps in a couple years (my youngest just turned 4), but you might go to customer service and see if they have any straps they can replace the old one with. They are replaceable. If they don't or won't, call corporate. It is not safe for you to put your child in the cart if they can't be securely strapped in. For example... we ate at a jack in the box when my son was about 18 months, for some reason the management at that restaurant had decided, rather than replace the old crappy high chairs, to just spray paint them black...we noticed pretty quickly that every time my son touched the chair, black flecks of paint would be on his hands and since he was eating with his hands that freaked me out. I called corporate and the next time we went into that place (within two weeks) they had a whole brand new set of highchairs.

I'd just call corporate myself. Neither of my stores are overly well maintained. Clean, but just not pristine in things like shelves looking worn. One has about 1/2 new carts, and 1/2 are old and beaten up.

I forgot to post that I called the district office and the next day I got a call saying the broken carts had been removed and that they stores were in the process of trying to get them replaced
