    Default Concord NC

My step son is moving to Concord NC to go to college. He wants me to teach him to coupon. It looks like Bi-Lo might be the best place for him to shop but I am not sure. Anyone have any advice on that area as far as shopping?
Also since couponmom does not list the best deals by area for this store are you pretty much on your own or do you know of any other resources.
This would be easy for me...but not so sure about him trying to figure it all out without a guide of some sort.
    Thanks for any advice.

I live in Salisbury, NC. The Kannapolis Bi-Lo doubles up to $.55 so I assume the Concord,NC does too. Their are several Harris Teeter's also in the area. What school is he going to? Send me a PM if you need some info.

Well I was teetering (lol) between Harris Teeter and Bi-Lo......
He is going to a small school called Fire School of Ministry. They
said there is a Food Lion close by but I read that they don't double
coupons. I was really dissapointed when I read that because
as you know, couponmom has the deals figured out for Food Lion.
I just don't see him setting down with the flyer and figuring it all
out. But even if he did all the BOGO sales at least he would save
    50%
Also what newspaper should he buy to get the coupons? In the Atlanta
area they sell the Sunday paper in a double pack for about $2.50.
Do they do that in your area?

Yes, I have heard of Cheerwine...I saw it on the food network.
I will be sure to tell him.

    Thanks for all your help

Hey, im in concord and my first store is usually bi-lo. Our store here doubles up to .99 cents. They take IP's and everything. Good store there. The Harris Teeter on Davidson drive is ok, they double up to 99 cents to, but i don't like the guy that works evenings, so I don't go there unless its a great deal, or they are tripling, etc. Theres a lot of food lions, but they don't double and are kind of hit and miss on the taking IP coupons.

*edit* he should get the charlotte observer.

I havent' seen double packs of Sunday newspapers. The Charlotte Disturber is $2/each for a Sunday paper. You can go online Sunday morning to see the value (dollar amount) of savings each week for the coupon inserts.

You can also go to BILOs website. Sign up for my bilo and you can see all the deals for the week and for the month (bonus saver). I use this a lot to see what I want to buy that is on sale and match up Qs that I have. Sometimes they have really great deals! As long as the Q will not go over the price of the item they will double up to .55. If something is only 1.00 and you use the .55 it has been my experience that the register adjusts the Q to the price of the product, no overage here in Columbia SC.

    Hope this helps.
