    Default Need Help

I am a single mom and have been saving a lot of money since I started couponing in January. However, I think I can save more money. I have found that Tom Thumb/Randalls has the best deals in my area. However, they only allow you to double/tripple one coupon. So if I have more than one of the same coupon to stock up on they will not double/tripple all of them. Is there away around this beside 20 separate transactions? I also have a Kroger near me, but they do not double or tripple any coupons.
I live in Texas if that helps regarding the stores in my area.

    THanks

Nope no way around it and mine won't let me do multiple transactions unless DH is with me. Where in Texas are you? I am in the DFW area and Albertson's doubles/triples 4 like coupons. However, I find them to be more expensive so it is rarely worth the trip. You can google "coupon matchups and your city" to see if there is a local blog that would have a line on independent stores in your area. You can stack at Target and they price match but not as easily as WM. I just find at the end of the day it is easier to PM at WM and go to the other stores only if there is a deal I can't pm like catalina deals.

Thanks for your reply. I agree Albertsons is too expensive and I hate the store layout! I don't like the long lines at WM either. I like to go to Tom Thumb late in the evening during the week as they are never crowded then! I just wish they'd double/tripple all my coupons. I have 2 kids I thought of sending each of them through the check out so we can do 3 separate transactions....not sure it's worth the hassle though. I am in Fort Worth. I've never been to HEB...not sure what their prices are like. I liked Kroger until they stopped doubling coupons.

I don't have an HEB close to me but I have tried a time or 2 while visiting my son. It is just too difficult to wrap my brain around all of their coded coupons. It's real easy to get caught up in their buy this get that specials and I think they are overpriced so I am not sorry I don't have one. I don't know what to tell you about Tom Thumb. It is further away for me and it is just not worth the extra fifty cents to drive over there. I know it sucks that Kroger stopped doubling but I have just had to accept it and go on (DS is in College Station and they still double so it's my first visit when I hit town). It is hard to see some of the deals other people get when I know we won't ever see them but I am saving so anything is better than nothing.
