newbie with question

hi folks--just starting this process--i went to the coupon mom site and brought up the stores in my state where i shop to see what coupons i might want to use this week--found a couple and went to the flyers that were specified to get the coupons and couldn't find the coupons. no coupon for osteo biflex, no coupon for betty crocker cookie mixes etc. so i just started looking through the list to see if i could find ANY of the coupons specified for that particular day (11-06--yesterday) and i couldn't. what am i doing wrong? I have both the red plum and the smart source flyers sitting here. i found some of what i was looking for online--am i supposed to just print online coupons instead of buying a newspaper? very confused. thanks! happy couponing--chris

I have found that the best deals require me to store my coupons for a short time.

Its a little hard to answer your question without a wee bit more information. Can you tell us what state you are in, and which store you are looking at? That way we can "translate" for you and help you figure out what is going on.

hi everyone--thanks for the help--i am in indiana (northern) and the stores i shop at are meijer and kroger. do the inclusions in the smart source and red plum flyers vary? i got that impression from some of the things i read on here--maybe mine just didn't have those particular coupons in them or something.
