Default When is the best time?

    Hello Couponmomers

I'm new to all this and a little confused.... I work 8-5 M-F, and I want to save as others do, but I went to the store and every coupon I had the items were gone. So my questions is... when is the best time to go to the store? especially the items that savings were more than 70%.. its real discouraging to have to keep going to the store in hopes that they will have the product your looking for. I was thinking early Sunday but how will I know what I will save if the databases isn't updated until that morning? Please help I'm a single mom with limited resources and I need to save money quick. Thanks so much in advance this website is awesome

It really will depend on YOUR store. If you are talking about CVS and Walgreens, there is an AD PREVIEW page on couponmom which has the following week's deals available early. Yes, getting there first thing is always a good idea on those stores, depending on where you live. For other stores, the next best thing to being there when they open is talking to a manager about what their delivery schedule is so you can be there on a delivery day. Rain checks for items that will not expire are another option. Finally, if you are REALLY commited to getting stuff then get up waaay early in the morning on the day the sale pops and go to the store before work.

I know for me, Tuesday night is the best night (after 8pm) to do the deals that end at midnight Tuesday. My stores (Albertsons and Vons) restock at 7pm on Tuesday nights. CVS, I like to shop Saturday evenings at 7:30pm as my CVS has both the past week and the upcoming weeks deals active in the computer system until the store closes on Saturdays. The stockers are in the aisles (so I can ask the questions and they can get what I need if it is not yet stocked) and the new tags are going up.

It kind of depends on your store and the managers stocking schedule. But, I cannot say it enough....rainchecks are the greatest so that you can lock in your price when the sale is over and the shelves are packed (as long as your coupons don't expire). Rainchecks are good for approx. 2-6 weeks depending on your store. However, the store cannot extend your coupon to fullfill the raincheck. Does that even make sense? haahahahahah
    My ISO list:

    Smart Balance milk
    Uncrustables
    $1/1 Tide
Zone Perfect $.55/1 to $1/1 off single bars or boxes
    Mrs. Meyers $1/1 products
    Fage Yogurt
    Ronzoni Smart Pasta
    Ragu Spaghetti Sauce
    $1/1 Always
    Skippy Peanut Butter

    Corinthians 10:13 (NIV)
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

What I meant to say was rainchecks are great if your COUPON will not expire before you can use the raincheck. Hope that clarifies what I meant vs what I actually said!
