    Default Rolling RR @ WAGS

I'm still new at this, and will be attempting to roll my RR's at Walgreens this week. I plan to buy the following items: Keri lotion ($5.00 RR), Gillette Fusion Razor ($4.00 RR), Aussie/ Herbal Essences hair care ($1.00 RR), and Pert Plus ($3.00 RR). My question is can I purchase all of these items in 1 transaction and still get all the RR's to spend on my items that will not produce a RR? Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

The answer is you can buy all of those in ONE transaction.. yes.. but you cannot use them to generate a second transaction of RR's. In other words you cannot pay with one from Keri for another keri and have it generate a second keri.
Also, it is not too efficient to buy them all at once.. you will be paying more out of pocket (OOP).

If it was ME, I would divide them as follows:

    Trans 1

    Keri lotion (5RR)
Filler item if this is a second time through- attach RR from trans 3 for the pert plus here

    trans 2

    Gillette fusion razor (4RR)
    Aussie/herbal essence (1RR)
Filler item to attach RR-use the trans 1 keri lotion RR

    trans 3-
    Pert plus (3RR)
2 filler items to attach RR- use trans 2 Aussie/herb essence and the gillette fusion RR

Repeat 1-3 until you have all the stock you want THEN

    trans 4
any items you wanted to get that werent RR- use the final RR from the pert plus in trans 3 here

Filler items can be a cheap marker for .29 or one of the NON RR items you wanted to buy anyways. Without knowing how many you have and how many MQ's I cannot give you a better spread sheet of deals than this I am afraid.

It absolutely amazes me how y'all can break these transactions down like you do!! I have to read it 2 or 3 times to even begin to grasp it....great job Desert Debbi!!

thank you =D Let me see if I can explain my procedure on breaking it down. I actually IGNORE the product and just look at the register reward initially. So, if I have the following RR's: buy 2 get 5, buy 1 get 3, buy 1 get 1, buy 1 get 3 then I pair them as follows: buy 2 get 5 + buy 1 get 1 = 6 and buy 1 get 3 + buy 1 get 3 =6. That mean for transaction one and two I generate an equal amount of RR's. Sometimes things just dont work out nicely though. There was the buy 1 get 10 a few weeks ago that I had to balance against a buy 1 get 1 buy 2 get 3 and buy 1 get 4. It truely sounds harder than it is!

If you are planning on spending all the RRs on non RR producing items anyway, then go ahead and just do 2 transactions. The first transaction with all the RR producing items, then a second transaction to spend them all. Your out of pocket will be the same in the long run.

As long as all your RR prducing items are different promotions you can combine them in one transaction and still receive all the RRs.

One other thing I would like to point out, the RR may or may not be valid on the Keri lotion. Its no longer shown in my flyer though evidently the special is still on in some regions.
