Thread: Question about Couponing at Walmart

Default Question about Couponing at Walmart

On the walmart weekly deal list on the Coupon Mom site it lists items where shoppers can make a "profit" if they use a coupon on the item. Will Walmarts in Texas allow us to use that "profit" towards items that are hard to find coupons for?

They should, because of corperate policy, allow you to use that overage on whatever else you buy.

Be sure to go to the Walmart site and print out the current Coupon Policy. Bring it with you when you shop. It clearly states that you will get the overage that can be used towards other items you are buying or you can get cash back. Some cashiers, Supervisors and Managers are not always clear on this so it helps to have the written policy.

They are supposed to actually pay you back if you have overage. But since Walmart can be so iffy and managers vary in how they handle the policy if I know I am going to have an overage then I ask for a gift card first with the amount that it is going to be and then it doesn't show up as an overage and they don't have to wait for CSM approval.

I bought a couple of tubes of Bengay last week with a profit of .77 cents a piece. Walmart paid me for each one! Oh, and I am in Texas also.
