Default How many of each coupon should I print/clip?

Very new to the wonderful world of coupons, and I had my first "rush" of coupon useing at Target with Glade candles dealz, which was awesome!

So my question is how many of each coupon should I print/clip? When I read about weekly scenerios some say use 8 $1/1 q, and I'm surprised to see that 8 mq. I currently get 2 copies of Sunday paper and print twice on online mq.

Also wondering when to use my mq on the "right" deal that would save most money. I've decided to start focusing couponing at Target first, so I feel like I only want to use my mq matched with a Target q or a Target deal where you get GC. Do some of you use your mqs and then two later see a better deal where you could have used them?

Hope this makes sense. Thanks!

I can't really vouche for everyone else (as I am new to the couponing thing too...since 9/09). Anyway, this past month I got 3-4 newspapers each week except for the first Sunday of the month when there are usually 3 coupon flyers (SmartSource, Red Plum, and P&G). On those Sundays I increase my number to 4-5. Also, I personally think that it depends on how many you are purchasing for and your monthly $$ bill. So, for me, I only shop for me and hubby and 2 English Bulldogs. So, 3-4 clippings in general is more than enough to fill our needs plus help out the local food bank. HTH!

It is just me and my daughter. I buy usually 2 newspapers. Here the inserts aren't great. Last month I got 4 because P&G insert and good coupons it had. If I need more coupons, I'd rather use coupon clipping services than buy more papers.

It all depends on the coupon and person. I usually buy extras from a clipping service. Most IP's will only let you print two per computer.

I am a family of four with two teenage sons. I don't feel comfortable until I have at least 10 of each MQ I use. I only pay for 1 paper per week. I can usually manage to scrounge up the rest. I agree that most IPs will only let you print 2, but I can usually print several more at work.

Buy the one paper(delivered) and I pick up extras from there(recycling, local Starbucks, & family usually does it)

I will trade for extra IP prints or buy lots on Ebay if I want alot of a certain Q.
