Lightbulb wondering in TX

Hi I am not new to couponing, but haven't done so in 4 years. I used to belong (pay) for another sites lists. I found this site and was curious because its free. This site is different than what I did before. (No clipping every week.) And honestly, the site is a little confusing. But I will stick around and see what I can do. I don't want to go back to paying for a list. The thing that intruiged me was to list your top items and watch for the lowest price week. I only bought one paper this week. Should I buy coupons online at a clipping service? Thanks for your help and patience.

This site is a little different, and the not clipping coupons is just one way you can do it. A lot of us clip them all (or most of them) and sort them in a binder or box or some other type of container. If you haven't read the E-books, they are a great resource and will probably be a refresher if you have done couponing before. Also remember, this is just the forum, not the main Grocery Coupons, Coupons, Free Samples, Online Coupons, Restaurant Coupons page. Play around on there and you will find a TON of information! HTH

Welcome fellow Texan!

I wouldn't bother buying Q's from a clipper unless there was something out there I really wanted/needed. But then, I've never bought q's from a clipper. It will take you a little while to really get rolling but it seems that a lot of the new deals out each week are running in conjunction with the newer coupons anyway. You can always pick up extra papers at most of the grocery stores as late as Thursday or Friday of the same week. Unless the q's were fantastic that week they don't usually sell out.

I used to pay for a similar site too when I first started couponing but have long since canceled my membership when I found Couponmom. The forums are extremely helpful. Most of the big deals seem to be the non-grocery type stores. There are some real Wags and CVS fanatics on here - including ME! LOL

Welcome fellow Texan!!! We like to highlight all the great deals you can get at different places but we also just like to talk about other things too that may be on our mind. Alot of us trade coupons with each other but if there is a coupon that you want alot of ,a few of us do use a clipping service. We are here to help...so just let us know what we can do for you.

I have never purchased Qs from a clipping service, rarely even buy extra newspapers. I trade with a few people at church and my mom sends me lots of Qs. I would never pay for a couponing website (I'm too cheap!) although I attended a seminar run by a competing site (didn't realize it until I was there -- It wasn't promoted that way.) I learned a lot anyway LOL.

Welcome from Arizona
Allison
