Default Online Coupons

Hi,

Regarding online coupons, how do you select (or do you print all) coupons that are online? It seems like it would cost a lot in ink to print them all out so do you only look for particular items?

Thanks for your input.

There should be a check box on them that says "Clip" and you can print just the ones you selected.

I just check the box that says clip and when I'm done I hit the print button.Sometimes you have to register first depending on where you go.I never print out all the coupons, only the ones I will use.

I don't print everything. IPs usually have an expiration date 30 days after printing, so I wait til I'm sure I'll use it before I print it. Also, I set my printer defaults to "black and white" (to save color ink) and "quick print" (uses less ink, but the Qs still scan). I also recycle my ink cartridges at Staples to get money back in Staples Rewards; then I put those toward the new ink.

additionally, on some printers, you can go into advanced settings and turn down the "ink volume" (not just "quick print" or "draft") and use even less ink.

i use a b&w laser printer. i get at least 10 times more prints out of my toner cartridge than with an inkjet...i have been able to find them for the same price as an inkjet cartridge online..don't ask me where now. it's been a while and i'll have to search it out again as i forgot to save the link....
this works only as long as you can use b&w coupons
also, i use recycled paper...i have not bought paper for my printer in ages. the last time i bought copy paper, was over 2 yrs ago and i'm still on that pack. i only use it when i need fresh paper. i used to work at a car dealership in the service department (my husband still does) and would take home all of the extra and unneeded paper (as long as it didn't contain customer's personal information-for privacy reasons of course) along with old special and coupon prints that we made that were no longer any good. my dh brings home paper all of the time. i told him to hold off for a while and i'll let him know when i need more

Thanks for sharing this information, queenella. I tend to do the same thing with using recycled paper when I can.

I print 2 of the coupons I'm pretty sure I'll use, and don't usually wait until the sale comes. Often IPs are limited in #, and particularly for the hight value ones, they go fast. I also print on B&W, and use "draft" mode. Never a problem. I also use the back of papers. That's not a problem either.

I usually prefer that coupon which give me ink cartridge at affordable price and produce some discount.

I only use the black and white cartridge in my printer. I don't even bother with the color cartridge.
Black and White cartridges are usually cheaper.
I used to buy both but what's the point?
