What is "Double Couponing"??
I have 2 questions about vocabulary and the nature of coupons here.
1. What is "Double coupons?" "Coupon Clipping?" - I don't think I have heard those terms before? 2. I know some online references say they offer things such as coupons for home depot or sears retail coupons. But do they really work? If yes, how do I get the coupon from external sites? Are they really as cheap and will you really save as much as they say you will? Those are my questions Mist Born

I can only answer to double coupon question. At my local Meijer, Kroger and Marsh stores they automatically double any coupons that are .50 or lower. Most will only double up to 2 coupons for same item. This may make it reasonable to go thru twice or more to get the best deals (depending on how many coupons you have). My Walmart and Target do not double.

My Krogers advertises doubles up to $1 which means they take a face value $1 q (coupon) and make it in to $2.
So if your store says "doubles up to .50" then they will make that a $1

coupon clipping is the actual act of clipping coupons.
or, you may be thinking of coupon clipping services. these are the people that some choose to pay to clip their coupons for them  hth,

I've noticed that coupon folks have a vernacular (language) all their own... and it seems to vary from area to area. Not much mind you, only slight variations. Somewhere on the forum is a whole list of acronyms and their meanings. Perhaps one of the search savvy ladies or gents will find it and post a link for you.
