Soo.. newbie here... I was wondering at what point do you consider a deal good enough to grab items for stockpiling??

You really need to have a good feel on the prices in your area and understand what a good deal is. It may take a while to understand what a good deal is if you are not accustomed to looking at prices. I would suggest taking the time to look at this site and the postings of some of the pros.
