You'll find at some stores that some employees are ill-informed. Need to go up the chain of command(to corporate if needed) to get clarification.
The one store I had an issue with had both the AM(s) & cashier swearing up & down they do not take IPs. Well, as per the store manager, they do. If you are going to shop there alot, talk to a manager & clear the air.

In the city I live in we have three Walmart Supercenters. Two stores except IP coupons no problem. I tried to use IP coupons at the 3rd and was told that they didn't accept them by the cashier and the CSM. So I left with my coupons in hand and no merchandise and have not been back to that store since. There loss.

I just back from walmart I have not been their in months. They told me the internet coupons were copys which they were not. I got the coupon from the BLUE BUNNY web page. Just be cause they are black and white they told me I copy them . They did even try them. So after making a fuss the front end Mgr.. said just try them and they worked. I so up up set with warmart that I'm going to just stay out of their stores . I will be calling the ice cream company tommorrow. I no if you call the company that put out the coupons they do call the store and sometimes the corp office.

In response to self checkout and coupons, each Walmart in my area seems to work coupons at those registers differently. Some allow the customer to scan and insert the coupon in the designated slot by the machine (there is a button for coupons on the menu when you are finished ringing up your order). Some prompt to have the customer hand the coupons over to the cashier looking over the self check out.
I guess it is up to each individual store to decide their procedures, much like what coupons they will accept (newspaper, store, IP)...unfortunately. |

So sad.... I probably would have let my $130 worth of stuff right there just to mess with them.
