Default Hi! Newbie here from WI.

As you may have guessed I watched Oprah and here I am. I am soo excited to be on this site. I am having a baby in Novemeber and then becoming a SAHM. So I am nervous about budgeting. I have never not worked. So when I heard about couponmom.com I was stoked. Although, I do not see a whole lot of stores by me on here. And what I've read about Walmart and their coupon policy...that was really the only one.

I live in WI. I do my grocery shopping at Copps on Wednesdays because that is double coupon day. I shop based on the Sunday flyer. I spend $50-$60 from there. The other $25-$35 is at Woodman's.

I get my HBA stuff from CVS because of the coupons and the Extra Care Bucks I earn.

What I don't get from those 3 places, I get at Walmart or Kmart. The Kmart in Green Bay doubles coupons up to $2.

The easiest way to stick to a budget is to plan your meals based on what's on sale in the weekly flyers. And if you can, as the ladies said, keep basics on hand for usuals. Our filler meals are stir-frys, pasta, mexican (tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas), and things made with stuffing or creamed soups. And these are great things for when your baby gets here in November, as it will make it so much easier for you and your husband - no last minute stops at the store.

Hello! I'm from Appleton. I do all my shopping at Copps on Wed's also. A tip for you is to get the Milwaukee Journal paper that has the most coupons. This past weekend I got the Appleton Post Crescent and they had 7 pages in the Smart Source and the Milwaukee Journal had 13 pages.

For those of you that shop Copps on Wednesdays....I'm from Green Bay, I just called my Copps, they also double on Wednesdays, but they have a 5 coupon limit and you must purchase $25 or more. What's up with that? 5 limit isn't much when you are feeding a family of 5!

Oh but is the 5 coupon limit per day, per person, or per transaction??

If it's per transaction, Go get your canned goods... then go back and get your frozen after lunch. LOL! Or have a friend come with you and load two carts.
