Ok...homegirlbound. I feel your pain. The best thing to do is to make a list and stick to it. Use your sales ads as a guide for your shopping and build your meal plans around what is on sale..

Set aside a certain amount with which to build your stockpile. Even if it's $10-$20 a paycheck... eventually you will build a fabulous stockpile.

I recommend evaluating your bills. What else can you cut out, reduce, or eliminate? Unplug everything that is not currently in use, or use a strip with a switch and flip it off. Revisit your car insurance bill, are you paying too much for "add ons" you don't really need?

i have always used coupons, but im finding out, the more i look here that i didnt know how to use them, but with a tight budget for family of 4 (and the dog) i am hoping to make better use of my time, effort and budget!! any tips?

I keep track of what I save and so far it's been over $500 this year and lots of free stuff to give to charity!
