I still don't know how to save that much money when it comes to groceries! I have no problem stocking up things like dental supplies and shampoos, but I can never seem save on groceries by using coupons! The only usable grocery coupons I can think of are all cereals and yogurt. Am I missing something or doing something wrong? How do you cut your grocery bills in half???

1. Do you have a grocery store that doubles coupons?
2. When my stores have BOGO sales....I will save my coupons for these....typical savings is 75% minimum. ![]() Make sure you read the 3 e-books and get extra newspapers to really save big.

Envy, do you get a newspaper from a major city or metro area? There should be plenty of coupons for all sorts of things. Be sure to read the e-book of you have not done so already. Also, you can get coupons from sources other than the paper, though the paper is a great source. There are links on this site to electronic coupons. And you can frequently get coupons by signing up at manufacturer's sites. Or by requesting them via snail mail. Then there are blinkies in the store, which I used to walk right by. And Catalinas printed on the back of your cash register tape. And peelie coupons stuck to packages. As well as coupons inside packages. Add in sales and rebates, and it is quite possible to cut your grocery bill in half. Keep reading the forums and you will see specific examples of how it can work.

Yes, I checked out the e-books and using coupons in combination with sales is what I've always been doing. It's just that a lot of the coupons I have are not for food so I have yet to find a way to cut my groceries bill in half

Being from the east coast I do not have access to a lot of the different stores you talk about. Is there anyway I could get links or info for places other than walmart like Food Lion, Jubilee, Kennies..... These are the stores in my local area. Otherwise, if I would want to go to some of the places like Target I'm looking at an hour drive. Any help would be appreciated!!!!
Thanks |

I sure hope everyone took advantage of the 50% off anything and no limit at Payless Shoes that Oprah mentioned on her show 10/29-unfortunately it ended 10/30. Today Payless started another one of their BOGO sales. The Glassboro, NJ store was so crowded but I prefer to go to that store-nice manager-shes there all the time. Usually you can combine some coupons with the BOGO.
