    Default General Shopping Tips

I just wanted to share this idea with everyone. I don't shop alone. I go with a friend (no kids or hubby). We each make out our own lists but shop together. We can bounce suggestions off of each other. We can stop each other when the other person is really not making a good deal. Also we can say hey, don't buy that here our next store has it 50 cents cheaper & you get rewards. This is like our girls night out & the hubbies are hanging out together while we shop. Also, we try to see who has had the better night.

Yes, my girlfriend i and shop together as well... she and i can definitely bounce everything off eachother and keep eachother in check - we don't want to spend when we're trying to save - being new at this we think everythings a deal so we have to tell eachother to wait til the time is right ....

That would be a great idea. I've never thought of that.

That would be a great idea. But I have no friends to shop with.
I guess I'll just make it my ME time.

I generally shop by myself. My elderly Mom and I used to shop together but she has a man-friend now so she doesn't go shopping with me anymore (Good for Her!!!).

My husband doesn't shop with me because he is the type to just throw stuff in the carriage that looks good to him. LOL. He's like a kid in a candy store. He's so cute and I don't have the heart to say "It's not on the list, honey". LOL.

I also find that when I shop by myself it doesn't take as long to shop. So I actually end up saving time and money when I go it alone.

Hey! This is too funny because the last Friday night my hubby text me and asked what I was doing, I responded "What every 21 year old married woman does on Friday nights..grocery shop with her mom!" LOL. I enjoy going with both my mother, and sometimes my mother-in-law..it's like a hobby saving so much money.

I always take a buddy with me. This way if I can only get one with a coupon I give her cash and she gets a second with me. I have doubled what I take home some weeks because I take her with me. Plus she enjoys seeing what I can get for cheap!

Well, this Thursday I'm not only shopping with my girlfriend as usual but I'll be shopping with a few friends as well - about 6 of us... We expect to score so we're rolling together... Hope there's enough for us all..
