I just found out about this today! Upromise members can get electronic grocery coupons for many great brands that work nationally at thousands of stores across the country, including CVS and most grocery stores!
New--Totally Free--No Clipping Required! Get $25 worth of free eCoupons for major brands (like Huggies, Charmin, Bic and more) that work nationally at 21,000 stores from Upromise! No clipping required, just select the coupons to be loaded on your loyalty card. Just join the regular Upromise page, and then find the eCoupons in the grocery section. The coupon value will be deposited into your Upromise account which you can direct towards a college savings plan OR you can request to have sent to you in cash if you'd prefer. Either way, it's free money. Coupon offers will be re-stocked on the first day of each month. If you aren't a Upromise member, it's easy to join.

Thank you so much for this tip. I had not heard of this either and these are items that are on my list for Giant Eagle and CVS weekly. Another great way to save for my little one and save money in the process!

I have read everything and signed up. I hope I understand it correctly. Does this mean that once I redeem the ecoupon that I get that amount off of my purchase PLUS I get that amount in cash or towards a college fund?
Also: Does this mean I cannot use a clipped coupon on the same item I have registered for an eCoupon? Hmm... I guess I am more confused than I thought. Last edited by jujubeanie; 09-05-2008 at 10:45 PM. |

1. You can use a clipped coupon along with a Upromise eCoupon. The eCoupon amount is not deducted from your bill, the Upromise eCoupon amount is added to your Upromise account.
If you don't have a Upromise account yet, once you join be sure to read all the ways you can get free money in your account. Last month I got money in my account (automatically without realizing it) by buying certain items at the grocery store, by filling up with gas at Exxon/Mobil, and by eating at my favorite restaurant. All things I would do anyway, but by registering my cards in my Upromise account I get cash rebates on all of those things. Now the eCoupons are one more way to accumulate earnings. As far as requesting the cash from your account, you contact Upromise directly to do that. I spoke with someone today who "cashed out" their account last month with Upromise to the tune of $654, they used it to buy back to school stuff for their kids and daughter going to college. They ignored the account for years and saw how those pennies added up! Since we're saving on these items with sales, coupons and maybe even Extra Bucks already, I'm going to let my eCoupon savings ride as a free savings account.

Yes--go to the customer service counter at Publix and ask for a Upromise card. Then you go to your Upromise account online and enter your Publix card there. When you shop at Publix, you have them scan your Upromise card every week. When you have purchased participatig items you'll get your Upromise rebates, and when you purchase items that have eCoupons you'll get those taken off.

does this only work at certain stores? what about stores in Oklahoma? we have Walmart, Doc's Apple market, Pyramid, Aldi's, Target, Walgreens, Reasor's and May's Drugs.
I was confused by the part ~ link them to your grocery or drugstore card ~ is it only at stores that have this card thing? still confused Last edited by TLC; 09-11-2008 at 07:10 AM. |
