Well, I got Eggs Rolls using the "Buy Three, Get one" coupon. I got eight packages for the price of three. Each was $2.99 (three Rolls in a package). That's about 38 cents per egg roll.

I hope they're good. I've never had this brand, I don't think.

Killed me to pay $2.99 for a little jar of Duck Sauce!! And, I couldn't find the Mustard I like....

I forgot to look for the Alexia -- and I even had it on my list! I've seen bags of potatoes (regular and sweet) for $3.79 (or something like that) -- but the store I saw them at is always very expensive. So, I thought they'd be cheaper at Publix and Wal-Mart.

Sorry you couldn't find the stuff at your Publix, tdr. Are the Egg Rolls in the circular?

Thumbs up Tried these -- Thumbs Up

I just had Egg Rolls for dinner -- and they were very good, I thought.

I don't know that I could or would pay full price for one package ($2.99), but you'd pay more than that for three eggs rolls in a restaurant -- and these were better than many egg rolls I've had at restaurants.

I prepared them in the microwave (according to instructions) -- the wrap was light & crispy; the vegetables were cooked thoroughly, tender "just right" for egg rolls.

Each package of Egg Rolls comes with a packet of Sauce for each egg roll. I didn't use them -- I used Ty Ling Naturals Duck Sauce. (Which was good, as well.

There is a 55-cent COUPON INSIDE each box.

I don't like the Fried Rice (-a-Roni), but I didn't make it exactly according to instructions. I think plain rice with a little teriaki (however you spell it) sauce might be better.

That's the report. Worth the money.

I'm going to watch for the new flyer coming out tomorrow (midnight online) to see if they are in it.

Asian markets are great places to pick up duck sauce, hot mustards etc. reasonably priced and larger containers available. If you cannot read all the labels the safest bet is to buy whatever appears everyone else is buying. I learned this tip from a Chinese friend.

Or get extra packets each time you have takeout. Our local Chinese joint tosses in about 2 dozen duck sauce packets per egg roll.

Your write up about how they taste sounds great, i'm definately on the lookup for the deal!

Thanks for the tips, tdr.

Another great thing about these (Vegetable) egg rolls is they are only 70 calories each. (That was a nice surprise.) [I'm vegetarian.]

The "2 dozen packets of sauce per egg roll" -- ha -- funny. It must be a "Chinese thing" -- I've always gotten dozens too when I've ordered out. (I don't eat/order out anymore.)

Thumbs down

THIS JUST IN --- I felt compelled to express my opinion of the "Duck Sauce" (or whatever it is) that comes with these egg rolls. YUCK. It's really terrible, I thought -- kills the deliciousness of the Egg Roll. (I'm using Ty Ling Naturals Duck Sauce (instead) -- that's good. : )

Ugh. Maybe I should write them a letter.

Hey Buddy!

I have them on my list to buy Sunday when I go shopping. You've got me drooling for them.

here is an interesting recipe to make your own Duck Sauce

Add the following ingredients to a small sauce pan. Then cook on medium heat until hot (stirring so it doesn't stick to the pan)
1 cup applesauce
1/2 cup apricot preserves
2 tablespoons honey
2/3 cup cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon crushed garlic (adds an interesting kick)
Then cool and serve.

Have you tried the Ling Ling Veggie Pot Stickers? The sauce that comes with them is delicious! They can be steamed, fried or both. I buy these guys in bulk at Kroger or Costco.

Wow, thank you for the recipe. I think I'll send it to Kahiki. HA.

I haven't tried Pot Stickers of any kind yet, but I often eye them. Thanks for the tip.
