Response from Area Manager - Washington
Print this out and bring it with you so the cashiers can't harrass you when coupon shopping at Albertsons. We are right, cashiers are wrong...like usual.

I understand there was a situation at one of our stores in Tacoma regarding coupons and how we accept them. First I need to apologize that you did not receive the savings expected at the time of your shopping trip with us. It sounds to me the cashier may have been confused with our current coupon policy as you should have received the $5 discount when you purchased $40 of product regardless of the amount of coupons you used. I have contacted the Front End Manager of the Bridgeport store Nicole, who is very eager to rectify this with you. She has asked to meet with you and resolve the $5 error. Nicole has also assured me the retraining process she is working with all of the cashiers to ensure they all understand our current policies. I know Nicole will work very hard coaching all cashiers to ensure you and other customers have a better experience in the future using these coupons in her store. Thank you for taking time to address this with us as it makes us a better team to resolve our errors and correct them for the future.
