    Default Meat Sale Question

On the meat sale does it take off the 10.00 dollars even without the meat when you spend $25.00? Last week when I bought the Knorr side dishes They took off the $5.00 instantly w/o me getting the "fresh or Rotisserie chicken" (I thought it was going to print a Cat wasnt expecting to get it for free). Just wondering before I go.

Yes, the $10 is instant. If you purchase $25 of those items, you get a $10 instant deduction.

The $25.00 is that before coupons? It should before coupons and after card savings correct?

I have a few questions about this sale as well.

-It says on the ad that there are over 650 items to choose from. Is there a list of the items somewhere? The ones listed on the ad definitely don't add up to 650.

-I heard that to get the $10 discount you have to have $25 worth of items from one side of the ad or the other, but that you can't mix and match and still get the discount. Does that make sense? Is that true?

To answer a questions: I do believe the total has to be before coupons and after card savings.

    Default Be careful

My thought on this one is be careful.

Last week I got a rain check for two hams at $5.95 each. I had already decided that I would only do this sale if my hams came in. Well, I got the call (I had to ask them to call me) and went down to pick them up today.

    I picked up:

    (2) Hams at 5.95 each
    (8) Dove soaps at $3.00 each
    (1) Kraft Cheese $2.00

Well, my $10.00 did not come off, even though I hit $26.00 in sale items plus got more then $10.00 in meat. She had to call someone and they looked at ever soap bar and the oz size of the cheese. She total me that there have been having problems with people trying this sale without picking up the meat or the meat just is not coming off. Well, after about 6 minutes the two cashers said that yes $10 should have come off and gave it to me. I then used (8) $2.00 Dove soap coupons, on top of the $10 off, making my total 00.00 for the dove soap and cheese and just playing for the ham. I have a meat cut and I am going to slice it up thin, and freeze it for lunch meat.

I got two 10% off coupons too

    Hello -

It is a mix and match sale. You can choose any of the 650 items to get 10.00 free meat. There are over 650 items because Albertsons count each flavor as one item. ie Dove soap is $3.00, but there are about six different kinds of Dove soap you can choose from. Make Sense?

Also the $25.00 is after savings card but before coupons. So I got 8 dove soap, 1 cheese and 2 hams for a little under $12.00. I really only paid for the Hams, which I had rain checks for. Just make sure that the $10.00 comes off after they scan the card but before they do coupons.
